Hi friends, it’s Clara!
This week, Mom and I did something super fun with our dog Sophie—we turned her real pictures into cartoon-style illustrations using ChatGPT. And guess what? I’m going to print them out and hang them in my school locker because they’re so cute. Want to try it yourself? Here’s how!
Step 1: Take Photos of Your Dog (or Pet!)
First, we picked some of our favorite photos. Sophie was playing with her pink teddy bear, then she was in my arms, and then she was being silly with a sock. She is always silly!
👉 Tip: Try to take pictures where your pet’s face is clear and the background isn’t too messy.

Step 2: Upload to ChatGPT
Inside ChatGPT, we uploaded the photos and typed a prompt like this:
Prompt:
“Please turn this photo of my dog into a cartoon-style illustration. Make it bright and playful.”
And BOOM ✨—ChatGPT gave us an awesome cartoon drawing of Sophie!
When ChatGPT turned them into cartoons, they looked amazing. Sophie looked even cuter (if that’s possible). It was like she was a character in a comic book.

I love the cartoon Sophie because:
- Her big puppy eyes look even bigger.
- Her scruffy hair looks extra funny.
- The pictures make it look like she’s on an adventure.
Now I want to make a whole cartoon book about Sophie and me!
If you have a pet, you should try turning them into cartoons too. Then you can make your own pet comic book. It’s like magic!
Step 3: Print and Decorate
Since I’m in intermediate school, I thought these would look perfect in my locker. You can print them at home or at a store like Walgreens or Walmart.
Here are some fun Amazon finds you can use to decorate your locker:
- 🖼️ Magnetic Photo Frames (Amazon) #Ad – Perfect for holding the cartoons on my locker door.
- 🌸 Locker Wallpaper (Amazon) #Ad – Makes the whole inside look cheerful.
- ✨ Magnetic Mirror (Amazon) #Ad – Because I always check before class!
- 🐾 Dog Paw Magnets (Amazon) #Ad – So Sophie’s theme is complete.
- 🌸Flower Magnets (Amazon) #Ad – Because you can never have too many magnets
